How to make a budget would be a question that haunts not only the youth but also many experienced people. Especially when you are right at the start of your career, just started with a job, and earning, that’s the best time for financial planning too! The problem is that your school and college never taught you budgeting, so you have no idea how to budget your expenses!
Here’s the 50-30-20 rule of budgeting that you might find useful. Put your expenses in three separate brackets of 50 percent for basic needs (without which you won’t survive), 30 percent for wants (desires which if satiated, are good, if not we make doo), and then 20 percent of your income essentially goes into savings.
